Context
Everything was ready. Then the brand was acquired.
The cases had been printed, gold-foiled, embossed, ready to be shipped for the launch of the new collection.
Then, just weeks before the commercial rollout, an external event changed everything: the acquisition of the brand by a new corporate group.
The direct consequence: the address of the Responsible Person a mandatory mention on all cosmetic packaging under European Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 — was now obsolete.
- 45,000 perfume cases already printed
- A new address to integrate across the entire stock
- A product launch scheduled in less than 4 weeks
Restarting full production would have blown up the planning. Destroying premium cases gold-foiled and embossed was inconceivable, both economically and environmentally.
The challenge was clear: precision overprinting on the regulatory zone, without touching the rest of the packaging.
